srfm_on_show_success_message

Description:

This event is triggered right before displaying the success message for a form submission. It allows external scripts to intercept and modify the behavior of the success message display. If event.preventDefault() is called during this event, the default success message handling will not occur.

Parameters:

  • form: The form element that was successfully submitted.
  • element: The HTML element that will display the success message.
  • message: The success message text to be displayed.
  • submitType: The type of form submission (e.g., “same page”, “different page”, “custom URL”).
  • container: The container element for the success message.
  • loader: The loader element associated with the form, which can be shown/hidden during the process.

    Event Implementation:

            const event = new CustomEvent( 'srfm_on_show_success_message', {
                    cancelable: true,
                    detail: {
                            form,
                            element,
                            message,
                            submitType,
                            container,
                            loader,
                    },
            } );
